Small Business Saturday is the shopping day following Black Friday where shoppers are encouraged to support small businesses, particularly in their communities.
This is the first year we're highlighting this opportunity to find deals while supporting small and local businesses at the same time. For that reason, we're staring a bit small.
As far as supporting small businesses in your community, do a little research to find the products and services you're wanting provided by your friends and neighbors.
